Role description
Our client, a leading telecommunications company, is seeking a Digital Strategy & eCommerce Lead to support the evolution of its B2B digital ecosystem. This role will sit at the intersection of business strategy, digital experience, analytics, and eCommerce execution, partnering closely with marketing, technology, product, and analytics teams to drive growth across digital sales channels. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong eCommerce experience, a data-driven mindset, and the ability to translate complex business needs into actionable digital roadmaps. β€’ This is an ongoing contract assigment with a pay rate range from $40-45/hour. Responsibilities: β€’ Lead digital strategy initiatives by identifying business needs, dependencies, and opportunities that inform roadmaps and prioritization across CMS and eCommerce platforms. β€’ Collaborate closely with Go-To-Market partners on optimization initiatives, gathering detailed requirements and ensuring alignment across teams. β€’ Partner with Technology teams on project intake, Business Requirements Documents (BRDs), and provide strategic consultation throughout development phases. β€’ Work alongside Data Analysts to leverage performance data, analytics, and insights to inform continuous optimization and storytelling. β€’ Consult with Business Analysts to align digital strategies with broader enterprise-level initiatives. β€’ Coordinate digital strategy and eCommerce execution across desktop, mobile web, and app platforms to ensure seamless customer experiences. β€’ Support digital sales channels and distribution partnerships, including affiliate and digital acquisition partners. β€’ Manage online product launches, offer development, and rollout planning to drive revenue, engagement, and business growth. β€’ Guide customer journey strategy by understanding digital audiences and personas, ensuring the right products and features surface at the right moments. β€’ Advocate for and help prioritize initiatives on product and technology roadmaps, including improved buy flows, cross-sell opportunities, and converged customer experiences. β€’ Champion a test-and-learn mindset by developing hypothesis-driven experiments and rapid learning frameworks. β€’ Identify innovation opportunities tied to personalization, scalable AI use cases, and emerging digital trends. β€’ Partner with design and technology teams to enhance platform capabilities, ensuring scalable, secure, and future-ready digital infrastructure. Required Qualifications: β€’ 5+ years of experience in digital strategy, business strategy, or eCommerce-focused roles. β€’ Strong eCommerce sales experience with a solid understanding of SEO, digital acquisition, and online conversion optimization. β€’ Proven ability to translate analytics and performance data into clear insights, executive-ready storytelling, and recommendations. β€’ Excellent communication, presentation, and data visualization skills, including experience delivering executive readouts. β€’ Firm understanding of content strategy, UX, and design principles. β€’ Demonstrated ability to plan and work through complex challenges with cross-functional, creative problem-solving teams.
