Job Description:
Pay Range: $50hr - $55hr
• The EDI Technical Lead will be responsible for configuring, optimizing, and maintaining EDI integrations across multiple systems to support business-critical processes such as Order-to-Cash (OTC), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), and 3PL/inventory operations.
• This role requires deep expertise in EDI HQ, X12 transaction sets, and SAP S/4HANA integrations, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to coordinate with trading partners and cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
• Configure and optimize multiple EDI mappings in EDI HQ, with strong expertise in 3PL X12 transaction sets (9-, 4-, and 2-series) and others such as 850, 856, 846, etc.
• Develop and maintain EDI HQ integrations with SAP S/4HANA to ensure reliable and accurate data flows across systems.
• Design and implement processes, jobs, file definitions, triggers, trading partner setups, and data conversion tables to streamline operations.
• Coordinate directly with trading partners for onboarding, secure connection setup (AS2, SFTP, VAN, etc.), file exchange, and issue resolution.
• Lead meetings for new partner onboarding, including requirements gathering, testing, and go-live planning.
• Conduct root cause analysis and cross-functional troubleshooting to ensure smooth EDI operations.
• Create and maintain mapping specifications, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and integration guides.
• Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and documentation to build internal EDI team capabilities.
• Build customized dashboards and transaction filters in EDI HQ to improve visibility and reporting.
• Automate EDI processes using Python and SQL for enhanced data validation, error tracking, and reporting efficiency.
• Proactively monitor EDI transactions, ensuring SLA adherence and timely resolution of discrepancies.
• Lead EDI system upgrades and implement improvements to maintain compliance and reliability.
• Collaborate with IT, finance, logistics, and operations teams to align EDI solutions with business goals.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and act as an escalation point for complex EDI issues.
• Plan, assign, and supervise the work of the EDI team.
Experience:
• 8+ years of experience in EDI systems and integrations.
• Proven experience with EDI HQ, X12 transaction sets, and SAP S/4HANA integration.
• Experience in automation using Python and SQL.
• Strong technical architecture and team leadership experience.
Skills:
• Expertise in EDI HQ, SAP S/4HANA, and X12 transaction sets (9-, 4-, 2-series, 850, 856, 846).
• Strong knowledge of AS2, SFTP, and VAN communication protocols.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for automation and data validation.
