Electron Framework with NodeJS
Work Location: Des Moines, IA / Canada
Mandatory: Skills Electron framework, NodeJS, NextJS, JavaScript, TypeScript
Good to have: Working knowledge of Search engines in a desktop application.
Experience - Demonstrated Work Projects having following skillsets
• Electron Framework – Integration of web technologies with desktop functionalities, familiarity with main and renderer processes and managing IPC is critical
• Node.js – Proficiency in Node.js and related backend development
• UI/UX – Working knowledge of CSS, React and integration with Electron apps
• Proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript
• Experience with embedded databases like SQLite
• Experience with Automated Testing (Playwright) and implementing CI/CD pipelines
• Security Principles (OAuth Authentication and Authorization best practices)
Key performance Evaluators:
1. Electron Framework IPC
1. NextJS & NodeJS (20% & 80%)
1. Github Actions for managing Electron App
1. Session and multiple windows Management in Electron App
1. SQL LITE Database
1. OKTA for Authorization & Authentication
Maintaining code in Mono Repositories
