Role description
Position Description CTS International is seeking an Electronic Design and Analysis Engineer 3 to support advanced aerospace connectivity and onboard digital systems in Everett, WA. In this role, you will help support critical airplane technologies including the Electronic Flight Bag (EFB), Core Network, Avionics Gateway (AG), CWLU, and Maintenance Access Terminal (MAT) across multiple airplane models. The team works closely with test engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and deliver dependable solutions that help airlines access the real-time aircraft data they need to make important operational decisions. This is a strong opportunity for an engineer with experience in electrical network systems, digital connectivity, systems engineering, and aerospace integration. You will translate high-level technical requirements into architecture and operational specifications, support the physical integration of complex systems into aircraft, and collaborate across multiple organizations to deliver high-quality, service-ready hardware and software solutions. The role also includes validating designs through both lab and airplane testing and supporting systems from concept through certification, delivery, and production lifecycle. The team is described as collaborative and the role is 100% onsite in Everett Position Requirements • Bachelor of Science from an accredited program in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science • 5+ years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Experience working with Linux/UNIX operating systems • Knowledge of network, hardware, software systems, and technical architecture • Background in systems engineering, including requirements, functional decomposition and allocation, integrated design, analysis, evaluation, and verification • Ability to support hardware/software problem-solving across the full product lifecycle • Experience developing and executing test procedures and supporting lab test configuration • Ability to create software scripts for test support or automation is valuable Preferred qualifications • Knowledge of FAA certification • Experience with system design and integration during an airplane development program • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams • Project management capability in a fast-paced, integrated environment • Experience with Model Based Development tools • Experience in computer networking systems, including troubleshooting/debugging in aerospace software and hardware environments • Ability to read software logs and code How to Apply for Position Ready to work on next-generation aerospace connectivity and aircraft systems?
