Email Marketing Specialist

Tasks & Responsibilities • As a data scientist at Melonn, you will work on the AI models we develop as a differentiating product from Melonn for sellers (our clients). • You'll develop models such as Product Forecast, CLTV, Churn, Personalize. • In addition to developing these and other models together with Sebastián Román, the data science team must be able to lead the implementation of these models in production, that is, we must indicate how they will be used and really taken advantage of by our clients. Requirements • Must be fluent in Spanish • Must be able to work in the Colombina time zone • Strong proficiency in complex SQL querying • Strong proficiency in Python (or R, and can quickly pick up Python) • Strong background in Mathematics & Statistics • Experience with handling large data sets • Good sense of business applications • Basic/intermediate level of English Nice to have • Experience with AWS • Experience with Spark • Experience with Operations Research • Advanced level of English Experience Preferably 2+ years of experience in a Data Science role, where you developed and applied Machine Learning algorithms. Experience handling large data sets is preferred. Experience with research is a plus. Education Economics, econometrics, statistics, mathematics, physics, computer science, or comparable. For international candidates: Melonn is a remote-first company, but we need candidates to be located in the timezone of the Americas. In addition, our working language is Spanish, so we can only consider applicants that can work in Spanish.
