Encompass Business Analyst (BA)

Immediate need for a talented Encompass Business Analyst (BA). This is a 12+ Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in NYC, Jersey City, Lake Mary FL(Hybrid). Key Responsibilities; • Gather and document business and functional requirements • Analyze mortgage workflows and recommend process improvements • Configure and support Encompass Smart Client / Encompass 360 • Translate business needs into: • User stories • BRDs/FRDs • Acceptance criteria • Process flows • Work with developers, QA, and stakeholders during Agile sprints • Conduct UAT testing and support production releases • Manage backlog grooming and prioritization • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including offshore teams • Support change management and training activities Key Requirements and Technology Experience: • Key Skills- Encompass, Mortgage • Encompass LOS • Mortgage origination process • Agile/Scrum • Requirement gathering • Stakeholder management • Knowledge of: • Loan lifecycle • Compliance/regulatory workflows • Encompass configuration • Jira/Confluence • Often preferred: • SQL • Power BI • API integrations • Scrum experience • Most NYC-related postings ask for: • 5–8+ years as Business Analyst • 3+ years with Encompass LOS • Mortgage domain expertise • Encompass Business Analyst • Mortgage Business Systems Analyst • Encompass LOS Analyst • Technical BA – Mortgage Technology Our client is a leading IT Industry and we are currently interviewing to fill this and other similar contract positions.
