Multiple Openings — Endur Specialists (Developers / Tech BAs / JVS / PPA) | Energy Trading
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Endur professionals to join our Energy Trading & Risk Management (ETRM) team.
This role is open to Developers, Technical Business Analysts, JVS Developers, and PPA Specialists with proven expertise in OpenLink Endur across the Oil, Gas, Power, and Commodities trading domains.
The ideal candidate will combine technical depth, functional understanding, and business acumen, working closely with front, middle, and back-office users to design, develop, enhance, and support Endur-based solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and enhance custom modules, workflows, and integrations within OpenLink Endur using .NET, JVS, and OpenComponents.
• Work closely with business users (Traders, Risk, and Operations) to understand requirements and deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Develop and maintain JVS scripts, UDSRs, OpServices, and extensions to support new products, pricing logic, and trade lifecycle processes.
• Support deal modeling and configuration for Power, Gas, and Oil products — including physical power contracts and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs).
• Configure and manage power curves, shaping, interpolation, and integration with market data sources.
• Collaborate with functional teams to enhance risk management, settlements, and reporting processes.
• Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and greenfield implementations of Endur (v16+ or higher).
• Provide production support (L2/L3) — troubleshoot issues across trading, settlements, and risk reporting.
• Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, delivery, and backlog grooming.
• Contribute to DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automated testing/deployment.
• Document technical design, configurations, and support procedures for ongoing maintainability and audit readiness.
Core Skills & ExperienceMust-Have
• Strong experience in OpenLink Endur (v16 or higher) in a technical, functional, or hybrid role.
• Hands-on expertise in one or more of the following:
• .NET SDK / Toolkit
• OpenComponents
• OpServices
• JVS scripting
• UDSR Development
• Solid understanding of trade lifecycle, deal booking, risk, settlements, and reporting.
• Experience in Power, Gas, or Oil commodities with exposure to both physical and financial products.
• Good knowledge of SQL (SQL Server / Oracle) for data extraction, debugging, and analysis.
• Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced trading environment.
Desirable / Nice-to-Have
• Experience in Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) setup and deal modeling within Endur.
• Understanding of power market fundamentals — generation, forecasting, and settlement processes.
• Familiarity with risk & PnL reporting, curve management, and market data integration.
• Experience with DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, Git, Jenkins) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Exposure to messaging and middleware tools (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with distributed teams.
• Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management in ITIL-based support processes.
• Knowledge of Orchestrade or other ETRM/CTRM systems.
Soft Skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across business and IT.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight SLAs in trading environments.
• Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working with minimal supervision.
Additional Details
• Location: Onsite (Geneva / London / Bangalore or as per project needs). Remote work generally not preferred.
• Experience Level: 4–15 years in Endur-related roles.
• Duration: Long-term (typically 2–3 years).
• Start Date: Immediate or short notice preferred.
• Domain: Energy Trading – Oil, Gas, Power, and Commodities.
