Plusses: • Experience with Conda-based Python environments and modern dependency management. • Familiarity with Pixi package management. • Hands-on use of GitOps practices for infrastructure and application delivery. • Experience with Harness Engineering for CI/CD and deployment orchestration. • Exposure to GenAI-enabled SDLC practices. Job Summary: This Engineer 5 contingent role serves as a senior technical expert responsible for shaping and executing solutions for highly complex engineering and business needs. The engineer will consult on strategic initiatives, influence long-term technical direction, and resolve multifaceted engineering challenges requiring creativity, innovation, and advanced problem-solving skills. The role delivers expert-level technical leadership across large-scale platforms and systems, partners closely with senior stakeholders, and contributes to modern engineering practices including automation, GitOps, and GenAI-enabled development lifecycles. The engineer is expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, strategic perspective, and enterprise-wide impact. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: • Consult as an expert on enterprise-scale engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact. • Define and influence engineering strategy, architecture, and long-term solution roadmaps. • Analyze and resolve complex, multi-domain engineering challenges requiring advanced evaluation and innovation. • Partner with senior leaders and stakeholders to shape future-state engineering capabilities and delivery models. • Lead adoption of modern engineering practices, including GitOps, advanced CI/CD, and GenAI-enabled SDLC approaches. • Design and guide solutions leveraging Python engineering ecosystems, dependency management, and scalable automation. • Ensure solutions align with engineering standards, policies, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks. • Mentor and influence other engineers through technical leadership, best practices, and architectural guidance. • Drive continuous improvement across engineering processes, tooling, and delivery efficiency.
