Engineer

Responsibilities • Participate actively in team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and bi-weekly sprint planning sessions. • Own feature development from testing to production, ensuring high-quality deliverables. • Design and implement testable and maintainable features that meet business needs. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to modernize technology applications and maintain critical financial controls. • Support real-time processing of financial data across various systems, contributing to hundreds of millions of transactions daily. Skills • Strong experience in backend development using Java, Groovy, and related frameworks. • Proficiency with data movement technologies such as Kafka and database management systems like Postgres. • Ability to design scalable web applications and services. • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Preferred Skills • Familiarity with additional programming languages such as Kotlin. • Experience with storage and caching technologies like Cassandra. • Knowledge of agile methodologies and best practices in software development.
