Position: Engineering Analyst III (IBM Maximo)
Pay Rate: $35-$38/hour on W2
Location: Houston TX (Hybrid)
Duration: 12+ Months (Possible Extension)
Job Summary:
The Engineering Analyst III serves as a data steward, technical advisor, and operational partner—ensuring that asset data is reliable, actionable, and supports the organization’s maintenance and asset management goals. You will be responsible for managing, analyzing, and maintaining Asset and Location data within IBM’s Maximo Asset Management system.
Key Responsibilities:
• Gather, prepare, map, validate, and load asset/location data into Maximo.
• Perform quality checks, review drawings, and troubleshoot data discrepancies.
• Extract, clean, and analyze data to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and IT teams to optimize asset lifecycle management.
• Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and metrics using tools like Power BI.
• Provide recommendations based on data trends and predictive analytics for preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Support system upgrades, data migrations, and user training on data best practices.
Requirements:
• Strong experience working with IBM Maximo or similar EAM systems.
• Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI preferred).
• Solid understanding of asset management, maintenance processes, and reliability principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business, or related field (or 8+ years equivalent experience).
