Enterprise Content Management Consultant

Role: OnBase Developer (Content Management Platform)10-12+ Needed Location: [Remote] Visa: USC Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced OnBase Developer to design, develop, configure, and support enterprise content management (ECM) solutions using the Hyland OnBase platform. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with workflow automation, document management, system integrations, and business process optimization within OnBase. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and configure OnBase document management and workflow solutions. • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Implement and maintain OnBase modules such as Workflow, Work view, Unity Forms, DIP, API integrations, and Document Composition. • Develop custom scripts, configurations, and automations to enhance system functionality. • Integrate OnBase with enterprise applications (ERP, CRM, HR systems, APIs, Web Services, etc.). • Troubleshoot system issues and provide ongoing operational support, upgrades, and enhancements. • Support OnBase system administration tasks including user roles, security, system configuration, and patching. • Create technical documentation, system diagrams, and support materials for implementations. • Ensure ECM solutions follow best practices for scalability, security, and performance. Required Skills & Qualifications: • 10-12+ years of experience as an OnBase Developer or similar ECM developer role. • Strong knowledge of Hyland OnBase modules, including Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, Document Imaging, and Capture. • Experience with OnBase API, Unity API, REST/SOAP Web Services, and integration tools. • Proficiency in C#, .NET, SQL Server, and scripting languages for custom development. • Hands-on experience with document processing, indexing, versioning, and retention policies. • Strong understanding of workflow automation and business process modeling. • Experience with OnBase configuration, administration, upgrades, and maintenance. • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications: • Hyland OnBase Certifications (OCSA, OCSE, OCE, OCAPI, etc.). • Experience with enterprise integration platforms (MuleSoft, Boomi, etc.). • Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS) and containerized environments. • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
