We are partnering with a forward-thinking organisation in the transportation sector seeking an experienced Enterprise Data & Analytics Architect to play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering a modern data strategy.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a senior data professional to design and lead enterprise-wide data architecture, enabling better decision-making, innovation, and business performance.
The Role
As the Enterprise Data & Analytics Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving the organisationβs data architecture. You will ensure that data is structured, scalable, secure, and aligned with long-term business objectives.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, IT teams, and analytics professionals to translate business needs into robust and future-proof data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Define and deliver strategic data architecture roadmaps aligned to business goals
β’ Design and optimise data platforms including data warehouses, lakes, and databases
β’ Develop scalable data models and ensure strong data quality, governance, and security
β’ Lead the design and implementation of ETL pipelines and data integration solutions
β’ Simplify and modernise existing data architecture to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet evolving data and analytics needs
β’ Provide architectural leadership and governance across projects
β’ Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies within data and analytics
Skills & Experience
β’ Proven experience designing enterprise data architectures and data models
β’ Strong background in data warehousing, analytics, and data engineering
β’ Experience with modern data platforms such as: Azure Databricks, PySpark
β’ Experience with analtics and reporting technologues such as Power BI or Tableau
β’ Experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
β’ Knowledge of cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
β’ Experience with real-time data technologies (e.g., Kafka or similar)
β’ Strong understanding of data governance, metadata, and data quality frameworks
β’ Ability to engage and influence senior business stakeholders
We are looking for a strategic thinker who can link technical solutions to business outcomes and able to simplify complex concepts for diverse audiences.
