Role: Enterprise Data Specialist Location: Multiple US locations (Alpharetta, GA; Charlotte, NC; Chicago, IL; Conshohocken, PA; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Fargo, ND; Garden City, NY; Houston, TX; Lenexa, KS; Los Angeles, CA; Lubbock, TX; Morristown, NJ; Mt Juliet, TN; New York, NY; Purchase, NY; Topeka, KS) Contract Duration: 1 year Work Model: Hybrid - minimum of three days per week in the office and could eventually be required in the office full time Role Summary: The Enterprise Data Specialist is responsible for designing, modeling, and mapping data solutions for the enterprise data warehouse. This role requires a strategic approach to data architecture, robust data models, and seamless data integration. Collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams is essential to drive data initiatives that enhance operational performance. Responsibilities: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define and document data architecture and modeling needs. Architect and design comprehensive solutions for the enterprise data warehouse, sourcing data from multiple insurance and reinsurance policy, treaty, claim, and financial systems. Design and implement source-to-target mappings optimized for high-volume data integration. Create logical and physical data models and implement them on SQL Server platforms. Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate translation of mappings into code. Develop strategies for data collection and ingestion; write SQL-based solutions to validate data accuracy and integrity. Analyze and design enterprise data models for optimal reporting; support reporting teams in utilizing the data warehouse model. Participate in release planning and validate changes post-deployment. Develop SQL Server views for reporting and dashboard development. Troubleshoot and optimize SQL and Informatica mappings and stored procedures. Technical Qualifications (Must-Have): 10+ years of data architecture and design experience, including extracting data from source applications and loading to an enterprise data warehouse. 3+ years of experience within the insurance and reinsurance domain. Hands-on experience extracting data from Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter), SAP, Genius, or WINS. Advanced experience with extracting data from insurance applications. Extensive knowledge of data warehousing, ETL, and BI architectures, concepts, and frameworks. Practical knowledge of source-to-target mapping and technical documentation for ETL teams. Experience with legacy mainframe systems (Genius, WINS) and newer systems (Guidewire, SAP). Knowledge of RDBMS platforms (SQL Server, DB2, etc.) with experience in generating DDL. General Qualifications: Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. Ability to work as part of a team. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Knowledge of Guidewire Policy Center, Guidewire Claims Center, SAP FS-CD & SAP FI-GL applications. Education Requirements: B.S. Degree in Computer Information Science, Information Management, or Statistics.
