Minimum Requirements:
β’ Minimum of 12 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 10 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 17 years with Ph.D. A degree from an ABET or NCAE accredited institution in one of the following fields is highly desired: Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or Data Science. However, an additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a Bachelor's degree.
β’ Top Secret with SCI eligibility
β’ (1 of the following active certifications, must attach a copy of the certification along with the candidate submittal for this position): CISSO, CISSP-ISSAP, CISSP-ISSEP, GCIA, GCLD, GCSA, or GICSP
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills
β’ Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
β’ Understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
β’ Familiarity with the DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF)
β’ Basic understanding of new technologies (Containerization, Kubernetes)
β’ Awareness of Microservice and Service Oriented Architecture patterns
β’ Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)
β’ Experience in requirements gathering, decomposition, and alignment across multiple efforts
β’ Knowledge in requirement gathering tools (Jira/Confluence)
β’ Awareness of business process modeling and analysis
β’ Understanding of security and compliance requirements for enterprise systems
Duties and Responsibilities:
β’ An Enterprise Requirements Engineer is needed to help architect and manage projects across DC3 by coordinating with stakeholders, project managers, and the development team.
β’ This position would have the technical knowledge to communicate the decomposition of requirements into technical implementation across all the projects that DC3 is involved in.
β’ Many stakeholders give similar or the same requirements on their projects and those items each get implemented separately historically in a silo.
β’ The Enterprise Requirements Engineer would be responsible for defining requirements for the Information Technology organization in a way that would reduce multiple similar requests across the enterprise and result in reductions in manual labor and time to build out what would otherwise be each requirement separately.
β’ This position would be responsible for working across multiple teams to understand the technical aspects of each project and breaking down the information into enterprise project plans to span multiple projects and assist project managers to track work against.
