Role description
Insight Global is looking for an ERP Business Analyst to support one of our largest healthcare clients. This is a fully remote opportunity, slated for a 12-month contract engagement to start, with the potential for extensions based on performance. On a day‑to‑day basis, this Business Analyst partners closely with business leaders, IT, and delivery teams to understand how ERP systems are used today and what needs to change. They lead working sessions to gather and document requirements, translate business needs into clear artifacts like process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria, and evaluate how changes will impact workflows, integrations, reporting, controls, and end users across the organization. The role supports both smaller enhancements and larger projects by helping define scope, break work into actionable requirements, and coordinate with Product Managers and IT to keep delivery moving. Throughout the lifecycle, the analyst facilitates collaboration across Finance, HR, Supply Chain, Payroll, Operations, and vendors, supports solution design decisions, and plays a hands‑on role in testing, UAT, go‑live readiness, and post‑implementation validation. They also maintain clear documentation, support governance and change control, and continuously look for ways to improve processes and delivery quality.
Must Haves:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
· 3+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, ERP analysis, or related application delivery roles.
· Experience supporting ERP enhancements, implementations, or transformation projects.
· Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping, impact analysis, testing coordination, and stakeholder facilitation.
· Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
· Experience working in Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery environments.
· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple requests and initiatives with competing priorities and deadlines.
Plusses:
· Experience supporting Infor ERP / Infor Cloud Suite preferred, SAP, Oracle, Workday, or Microsoft Dynamics experience also acceptable.
· Experience with ERP functional areas such as HCM, WFM, Payroll, Finance, or Supply Chain.
· Healthcare or large, complex enterprise environment experience preferred.
· Familiarity with integrations, reporting/analytics, role-based security, and audit/control requirements.
· Experience with IT service management and change/release processes, preferably including ServiceNow.
· Experience supporting process redesign, UAT, cutover, and operational readiness activities.
