Role description
Business Analyst (TBC) Contract Type: Fixed-Term (9–12 months) Location: North London (near Archway) – Hybrid, 3–4 days on-site Reports to: Business Systems Manager Role Summary Acting as the right hand to the Business Systems Manager, you’ll work across ERP integration, requirements gathering, and process improvement while supporting BAU operations. The role requires a technically minded, system-agnostic analyst with strong ERP and retail experience, able to work across multiple teams to deliver high-quality functional solutions. Key Responsibilities • Support ERP migration and integration projects. • Gather, document, and translate business requirements into technical specifications. • Liaise between business users, developers, and external implementation partners. • Manage BAU support for the existing ERP (Microsoft Navision). • Prepare data, documentation, and designs for the new ERP (likely NetSuite or another non-Microsoft platform). • Create and maintain process documentation and user stories. Required Skills & Experience • Strong experience as a Functional Analyst or Business Analyst within retail (apparel, consumer goods, or e-commerce). • Hands-on knowledge of ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics NAV / Business Central, NetSuite, SAP, etc.). • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. • Proven ability to document and translate business needs into clear specifications. • Experience with system integrations and middleware (AWS or similar). • Comfortable working in hybrid project/BAU environments. Nice to Have • Exposure to ERP implementation or migration projects. • Familiarity with Google Data Warehouse or cloud data platforms. • Understanding of retail supply chain and finance processes.
