Role description
Position Overview
As an Enterprise Solution Architect, this position requires an individual with robust technical engineering expertise across cloud platforms, data analytics, and customer engagement technologies. The individual holds a critical role in defining enterprise-wide architectural patterns, identifying feature requirements, outlining the technical vision, and converting these elements into a comprehensive roadmap and backlog for development teams. This role partners closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and external SaaS providers to deliver scalable, integrated solutions.
Primary Responsibilities
Responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining enterprise solutions spanning AWS cloud infrastructure, Databricks data platforms, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud to meet strategic business objectives. You will lead technical discussions, design integration architectures, mentor technical teams, ensure best practices across platforms, and optimize overall solution performance. The role requires deep understanding of cloud-native architectures, data engineering, marketing technology ecosystems, and enterprise integration patterns.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Salesforce Marketing Cloud Expertise:
• At least 4+ years hands-on experience with Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud
• Led at least 2 full implementations from ground up, including requirements gathering, architecture design, and deployment
• Deep knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud modules including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, Audience Builder, and Automation Studio
• Strong expertise in Service Cloud configuration (case management, Live Agent, Knowledge Management, Omni-Channel routing)
• Hands-on experience with Salesforce APIs (SOAP, REST), SSJS, AMPScript, and SQL queries in Marketing Cloud
• Experience leading Salesforce implementations, data migrations, and complex integrations
AWS Cloud Architecture:
• 5+ years hands-on experience architecting and implementing solutions on AWS
• Proficiency with core AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift, Kinesis, EventBridge, API Gateway, and CloudFormation/Terraform
• Experience designing secure, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud architectures
• Knowledge of AWS data services and integration patterns
Databricks & Data Engineering:
• 3+ years hands-on experience with Databricks platform
• Strong understanding of Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and lakehouse architecture
• Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes
• Ability to design data architectures that support analytics, ML, and customer engagement use cases
Technical Skills:
• Strong programming capabilities in Python, Scala, and/or Java
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Knowledge of API design, microservices architecture, and event-driven patterns
Leadership & Communication:
• Lead architecture design sessions and technical discussions with cross-functional teams
• Mentor developers and data engineers on best practices
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions
• Create and maintain architectural documentation and standards
Key Responsibilities
• Design end-to-end enterprise solutions integrating AWS, Databricks, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Architect data flows between platforms to enable personalized marketing campaigns driven by analytics
• Lead technical implementation of Marketing Cloud journeys powered by real-time data from AWS/Databricks
• Configure and customize Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Service Cloud to meet business requirements
• Establish integration patterns and standards for connecting SaaS platforms with cloud data infrastructure

• Collaborate with external SaaS providers and vendor partners
