About the Company
We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry Level Analyst to support daily operational activities within a banking environment. While the broader function sits within Treasury Operations, the primary focus of this role will be reconciling financial and operational data, maintaining reporting accuracy, and supporting process visibility through spreadsheets and Power BI dashboards. This individual will work cross-functionally to ensure data integrity, support operational workflows, and contribute to continuous process improvement.
Responsibilities
• Perform daily and periodic data reconciliation across treasury and operational datasets to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze discrepancies, investigate root causes, and partner with internal teams to resolve variances
• Build, maintain, and enhance reports using Excel and Power BI to support operational tracking and decision-making
• Validate financial and operational data within treasury systems, spreadsheets, and internal tools
• Support daily operational workflows tied to ACH, deposits, online banking activity, and account servicing
• Review documentation and operational records for accuracy and compliance
• Assist with reporting, dashboards, and data visualization to provide insights into treasury operations performance
• Monitor shared inboxes and internal requests related to operations and reconciliation activities
• Collaborate with stakeholders across operations, finance, and customer support teams to improve data quality and processes
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and internal compliance standards
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• 0–2 years of experience within a financial institution, operations, or data-focused role preferred
• Exposure to treasury operations, reconciliation, banking systems, or financial data analysis is a plus
Required Skills
• Strong experience working with spreadsheets (Excel) for reconciliation, analysis, and reporting
• Experience using Power BI to build dashboards and visualize operational or financial data
• High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Foundational understanding of banking products, treasury operations, or financial services workflows preferred
Preferred Skills
• Experience supporting ACH, deposits, or online banking operations
• Familiarity with general ledger balancing, financial data validation, or operational reporting
• Interest in process improvement and data-driven decision making
