Role description
Epic Cogito Certified Resources for Project • Need to be Epic Boost level • Must be COGITO CERT • • HIGHLY VISIBLE PROJECT (To the CIO and CFO ) • Client is bringing Service Areas Together and they need the resources Duration: ASAP start through May (with extension potential) Engagement: Full-time, project-based Certification Required: Epic Cogito Experience Level: Level 5 / Highly Experienced (Epic Boost caliber) Overview Our client is undergoing an Epic Modernization initiative and requires 2–4 Epic Cogito–certified professionals to provide expert-level support over the next four months (February–May). These resources will play a critical role in ensuring the completeness, accuracy, and readiness of all analytics content needed for Phase I and for a successful April go-live. The team will focus on validating, optimizing, and supporting a broad spectrum of Cogito assets, including dashboards, reporting content, SlicerDicer components, and underlying data models. In addition, these resources will provide dedicated support throughout go-live and the immediate post–go-live period to ensure operational continuity. Key Responsibilities • Epic Cogito Content Validation & Optimization Support the timely validation and refinement of all analytics assets required for Phase I, including: • Dashboards • Standard and custom reports • SlicerDicer data models and end-user sessions • Data model dependencies and build alignment • Go-Live & Post–Go-Live Support (April) Provide hands-on, rapid-response expertise to address critical items such as: • Reports or dashboards failing or not rendering as expected • Data discrepancies or unexpected metric variances • SlicerDicer functionality issues • Dependency changes arising from SAA or other modernization components • Collaboration With Build, BI Developers, and Operational Stakeholders • Partner with BID resources and operational leaders to ensure analytics content meets clinical, business, and regulatory requirements. • Provide cross-functional guidance to avoid rework and downstream delays. • Support continuity in analytics operations during a high-activity modernization period. • Support for Project Timelines & Readiness These Resources Are Essential To • Maintain Phase I validation timelines • Ensure high-quality analytics deliverables aligned to modernization goals • Prevent bottlenecks for subsequent phases • Sustain operational readiness through go-live Required Qualifications • Epic Cogito certification (Cogito, Cogito Tools, or relevant module-specific Cogito certifications) • Minimum 5 years of Epic Cogito experience, preferably in complex or multi-site environments • Expertise in dashboards, Reporting Workbench, Radar, SlicerDicer, and Clarity/Caboodle data structures • Proven ability to troubleshoot analytics issues quickly and accurately during high-demand periods • Strong communication skills for working with BIDs, project leadership, and operational leaders Preferred Qualifications • Prior experience supporting go-lives or modernization/upgrade initiatives • Familiarity with SAA, Caboodle enhancements, or Epic modernization environments Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with aggressive deadlines
