Job Title: ESO Cloud Data Architect (Contract) - Job#5873 Location: Richmond, VA Job Description The ESO Cloud Data Architect will support the organization’s business intelligence ecosystem by designing, implementing, and maintaining data structures, analytic models, and repositories. This role is responsible for requirements analysis, data architecture, troubleshooting, and support across complex BI environments. The ideal candidate brings deep experience in data architecture, analytics, SQL, performance metrics, and enterprise-scale data governance. Responsibilities The ESO Cloud Data Architect will be responsible for the architecture, design, and ongoing administration of enterprise business intelligence environments. Key Responsibilities Include • Lead complex data design, database architecture, metadata and repository creation, repository management, and administration • Configure database parameters, allocate resources, and review data loads for completeness and accuracy • Troubleshoot database applications, support products, analyze data requirements, and maintain application, processing architecture, and schemas • Establish and maintain integrity of complex data definitions, data models, and overall data quality • Lead efficiency improvements in infrastructure and automation processes • Produce complex analytic models, ad-hoc queries, and reports for Audit and business management • Execute SQL queries for analysis of existing metrics and the creation of new metrics • Lead software testing activities including code-level/unit testing, ETL process validation, SQL/reporting tool testing, and script development of moderate complexity • Collaborate as part of an Agile team to develop capabilities supporting decision-making processes (reporting, dashboards, metadata, metrics, data governance, data cleanup, data-sharing agreements, etc.) • Develop conceptual, logical, and physical IT engineering designs to support infrastructure requirements across varying technical and business projects • Perform analysis of business requirements related to infrastructure design and ensure design traceability to business needs Qualifications • 9+ years of relevant work experience • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant discipline • IT-related certification preferred • Broad knowledge of programming, SQL queries, data warehouses, relational databases, and quantitative/qualitative analytic techniques • Strong familiarity with performance measures, metrics analysis, balanced scorecards, and dashboard development • Excellent project management ability • Broad and deep experience developing business strategies, fostering internal support, collaborating across multiple organizations, and engaging senior leadership to execute strategies About Delphi-US Delphi-US is a national recruiting firm based in Newport, Rhode Island.
