ETL Developer

Our Financial Services client is seeking a highly skilled Snowflake Developer who is strong with CI/CD pipelines. This position is hybrid in Midtown, NYC, and requires being on-site 4 days per week. Local NY Metro market candidates only (no relocation). This role is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization (e.g., H-1B, OPT, CPT, etc.) or transfer. Candidates must have valid U.S. work authorization The successful candidate will be primarily focused on supporting a Snowflake data warehouse infrastructure that spans multiple regions and utilizes a combination of technologies, especially Snowflake and Python. The candidate will work collaboratively with various technical teams to develop and implement a robust CI/CD process for Snowflake, leveraging GitHub, GitHub Actions, Python, TeamCity, and SDA. Proficiency in Control M for batch processing is highly desirable. This role is ideal for candidates experienced in developing CI/CD pipelines for databases. Previous experience in the Broker-Dealer domain is advantageous, though a solid track record in large-scale data warehousing projects will also be considered. Required: 1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake CI/CD and automation. 1. 5+ years of Python development for data engineering and automation tasks. 1. Experience with Oracle PL/SQL is a plus. 1. Demonstrated ability to design and implement GitHub Actions for automated Snowflake deployments. 1. CI/CD expertise using GitHub, Git Actions, TeamCity, and SDA. 1. GitHub Actions Certification strongly preferred. 1. Familiarity with Veracode scans and secure coding practices. 1. Proven track record in large database development project teams
