ETL Developer

Job Title: ETL Developer (PostgreSQL & SnapLogic) Location: Tampa, FL – 100% Onsite Duration: 6 Months (Contract) Experience Required: 6–8+ Years Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with strong hands-on expertise in PostgreSQL and SnapLogic (iPaaS) to design, build, and maintain data integration workflows and ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in database development, data transformations, and workflow orchestration across large enterprise environments. This role is highly collaborative, working closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable data solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines using SnapLogic iPaaS. • Develop, optimize, and manage PostgreSQL database schemas, stored procedures, and queries. • Collaborate with teams to define and understand data requirements, ensuring smooth data flow between systems. • Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from multiple sources into target databases. • Conduct data quality checks, troubleshoot ETL failures, and implement solutions for performance improvement. • Document data mappings, workflows, and system interfaces for ongoing maintenance and knowledge sharing. • Monitor ETL jobs and proactively address failures, delays, or performance bottlenecks. • Support data validation, reconciliation, and migration efforts during production deployments. Required Skills & Experience: • 6–8+ years of experience in ETL development and data integration. • Strong proficiency in PostgreSQL — advanced SQL scripting, query tuning, and database optimization. • Hands-on experience with SnapLogic iPaaS for building and managing data pipelines. • Proven expertise in database development — schema design, functions, indexes, and performance tuning. • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and relational database concepts. • Ability to debug, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL performance in production environments. • Strong collaboration, documentation, and communication skills. Preferred Skills: • Experience with cloud-based data environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). • Familiarity with Python or Shell scripting for automation. • Experience working in Agile or DevOps-driven environments. • Understanding of data governance, quality frameworks, and metadata management. Education: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related field.
