Role description
Job Title: ETL Developer
Location: Warren, NJ
Contract length: 5 Months
Job Responsibilities:
• Lead and guide developers responsible for ETL development, data pipelines, and data warehouse loads.
• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and views.
• Build and maintain workflows for data ingestion, cleansing, transformation, and transfer using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and SQL.
• Demonstrated Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and above including managing databases.
• Demonstrated experience working with Microsoft SSIS to create and deploy packages and deploy for ETL processes.
• Demonstrated experience around writing and troubleshooting T-SQL statements, creating stored procedures, views, and SQL functions.
• Understands different data models like normalized, de-normalized, stars, and snowflake models.
• Strong SQL coding experience with performance optimization experience for data queries.
• Ability to multi-task and thrive in fast paced, rapidly changing, and complex environment.
• Work with team members to identify and resolve technical issues in a timely fashion.
• Analyse problems and communicate with stake holders to assess needs and determine optimal solutions.
• Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience using Azure Devops and CICD pipeline for deployments
• Strong understanding of data structures and formats such as JSON and XML and SSIS Scripting.
