ETL Developer - Data Stage/SSIS (No C2C/No Sponsorship)

Job Title: Senior Data Pipeline ETL Developer • No C2C/No Sponsorship at any point • Location: Remote CST Duration: 7+ months Pay: $80-85/hr Project Overview: We are seeking a Senior ETL Developer to support a database conversion project involving the transition from a legacy database system to a new environment. The role requires extensive experience in ETL development, particularly using IBM DataStage and Microsoft SSIS, as well as a strong focus on quality assurance and data integrity. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the migration of ETL processes from IBM DataStage to Microsoft SSIS. • Develop, test, and deploy robust ETL workflows using SSIS. • Conduct quality assurance and validation testing for internal and external data files. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely data delivery. • Document ETL designs and test results clearly and thoroughly. • Communicate project status, challenges, and timelines effectively to stakeholders. Required Qualifications: • 5–6 years of experience in ETL development. • Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage and Microsoft SSIS. • Proven track record in ETL migration or conversion projects. • Excellent attention to detail, especially during QA and testing phases. • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Nice to Have: • Experience with enterprise scheduling tools, especially JAMS (Job Access and Management System).
