A leading financial services organization is seeking an experienced IBM DataStage ETL Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale data integration solutions. This role focuses on building high-performance ETL/ELT pipelines, optimizing data movement, and supporting modern data warehouse, data lake, and Snowflake environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and support scalable ETL/ELT solutions using IBM DataStage 11.7
• Build and maintain enterprise data pipelines for mission-critical applications.
• Develop reusable ETL frameworks, parameterized jobs, and metadata-driven solutions.
• Integrate data from Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Snowflake, flat files, XML, JSON, Parquet, and cloud storage.
• Develop and optimize SQL and PL/SQL code for high-performance data processing.
• Design cloud-native data pipelines and support migrations from on-premises platforms to Snowflake.
• Automate batch processes and operational workflows using Unix/Linux Shell Scripting.
• Support production deployments, performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with business and technology teams in an Agile environment to deliver scalable data integration solutions.
Required Qualifications
✅ 8–10 years of ETL/Data Engineering experience.
✅ Strong hands-on experience with IBM DataStage 11.7 or higher.
✅ Advanced SQL and PL/SQL development experience with Oracle and DB2.
✅ Experience designing enterprise ETL/ELT solutions and reusable DataStage frameworks.
✅ Strong experience with Snowflake, including Streams, Tasks, Dynamic Tables, Secure Views, Data Sharing, and query optimization.
✅ Experience building cloud-native data pipelines and migrating data to Snowflake.
✅ Strong Unix/Linux Shell Scripting skills.
✅ Experience with batch processing, incremental loads, and CDC-based data pipelines.
✅ Solid understanding of Data Warehousing, Dimensional Modeling, Data Lakes, and Lakehouse architectures.
✅ Experience with Git, CI/CD, Agile, and DevOps practices.
Preferred Qualifications
⭐ Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data integration platforms.
⭐ Strong production support, incident management, and performance tuning experience.⭐
Experience working with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data.⭐ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
