This role requires strong analytical skills, deep technical expertise in Informatica, SQL, and dimensional modeling, and the ability to work closely with architects, developers, analysts, and business teams to deliver reliable, scalable data solutions.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and participate in Agile development activities, including requirements, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Acquire data from a variety of sources and prepare it for analytical and operational use.
• Design and develop complex SQL scripts to transform data into dimensional models and build views and materialized views.
• Develop ETL automation using Informatica Power Center or IICS, including extraction, transformation, and loading of structured and semi-structured data.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to design optimal data models and integration strategies.
• Develop automated processes for verification, validation, and quality assurance of data pipelines.
• Participate in sprint ceremonies as part of a high-performing Agile development team.
• Engage with stakeholders to create mockups, validate requirements, and refine deliverables.
• Support design and configuration of development tools, data infrastructure, and integration environments.
• Produce and maintain technical specifications, diagrams, mappings, and documentation supporting DD&I efforts.
• Analyze impacts of new or changing business requirements and propose enhancements or design modifications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Support data pipeline performance tuning, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Perform all other duties as assigned to support the development, maintenance, and operations of the data integration environment.
Required Qualifications
• 8+ years of experience developing ETL mappings and workflows using Informatica Power Center or IICS.
• 8+ years of experience acquiring and integrating data from multiple sources (Oracle, SQL Server, Excel, Access, Adobe PDF) into ETL workflows for analytics or visualization platforms.
• 8+ years of experience designing and developing complex SQL scripts for Oracle and/or Snowflake that are optimized for performance and scalability.
• 8+ years of analytical and problem-solving experience as a systems analyst supporting data analytics, performance management, or data warehousing projects.
• 8+ years of experience producing technical documentation, data mappings, diagrams, and requirements using tools such as Visio, Erwin, and Microsoft Office applications.
• 8+ years of experience planning, designing, and delivering software platforms used across multiple business units or product lines.
• 8+ years of experience writing testable, well-structured, and efficient code using best development practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• 6+ years of excellent written and verbal communication experience, including presenting findings to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• 6+ years of experience managing multiple assignments concurrently, prioritizing deadlines, and adapting to rapidly changing requirements.
• 4+ years of experience working on Agile sprint teams in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
• 4+ years of understanding security principles, particularly as they relate to sensitive healthcare data (PII/PHI).
• 4+ years of experience with modern BI, analytics, or data visualization technologies, especially those supporting performance metric dashboards.
• 4+ years of experience developing SDLC artifacts, including requirements, gap analyses, data flow diagrams, design documents, test cases, and use cases.
• 4+ years of experience in the healthcare industry, ideally within government health programs.
• 4+ years of experience working with PII or PHI data in secure enterprise environments.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience designing and developing scripts using Python.
• 4+ years of experience with Jira for Agile project management.
