ETL Developer (Microsoft Data Platform & Data Cleansing)

Job Summary: An experienced ETL Developer specializing in the Microsoft Data Platform, including MS data cleansing tools and Power Automate, is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, with a strong focus on data quality and integrity through specialized data cleansing tools and techniques. This role involves collaboration with business users and data analysts to deliver high-quality, reliable data for submission and reporting. This is a 1099 position. Responsibilities: • ETL Development: Design, develop, and implement robust and efficient ETL solutions using Azure Data Factory, or other relevant Microsoft tools. • Data Cleansing and Quality: Utilize Microsoft data cleansing tools to profile, cleanse, and standardize data, ensuring high data quality and consistency. • Automation: Leverage Microsoft Power Automate to automate data-related tasks, workflows, and integrations, enhancing efficiency and reducing manual effort. • Data Storage: Collaborate with data analysts to understand data requirements, contribute to data lake / data warehouse development. • Performance Optimization: Optimize ETL processes, SQL queries, and data loading mechanisms to ensure efficient data flow and timely delivery. • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and data quality rules. • Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other IT teams to gather requirements, deliver solutions, and ensure data aligns with business needs. Requirements: • Proven experience as an ETL Developer, with a strong focus on the Microsoft Data Platform. • Experience with Microsoft data cleansing tools. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Power Automate for workflow automation. • Solid understanding of data lake and warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and ETL best practices. • Experience with Azure Data Factory or other cloud-based ETL tools is a plus. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
