Role description
Job Title: ETL Developer (Python & Apache Airflow)
Location: Austin, TX (Onsite – 4 Days/Week)
Duration: 12+ Months (Contract)
Interview Process: Video Interview
Required Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Python for ETL development.
• Expertise in Apache Airflow, including DAG development, task orchestration, and Airflow operators.
• Experience with Python libraries such as Pandas, SQLAlchemy, or similar ETL frameworks.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
• Knowledge of ETL concepts, data modeling, and transformation techniques, including:
• Star Schema
• Slowly Changing Dimensions (SCD)
• Experience with dependency management tools such as Poetry, Pipenv, or Conda.
• Familiarity with Git version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of modern data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Amazon Redshift, or Google BigQuery.
• Extensive Databricks experience is highly preferred.
