About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer with strong expertise in Snowflake, DBT Cloud, and Fivetran to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will bring deep knowledge of data engineering best practices, data warehouse design, and modern ELT pipeline development. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and clear communication with stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain ELT pipelines using DBT Cloud, Snowflake, and Fivetran.
• Implement and optimize data models aligned with star schema and medallion architecture best practices.
• Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality data solutions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across reporting and analytics platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ETL processes, ensuring scalability and performance.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices for data engineering processes.
Qualifications:
• 4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or ETL Developer.
• Must reside in California or Chicago
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake, DBT Cloud, and Fivetran.
• Experience with Dimension tables.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, including star schema modeling.
• Familiarity with Snowflake Medallion architecture.
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools is a plus.
