Job#: 3038637 Job Description: Client: Financial Services Team: TBA Job Title: Software Engineer 4 โ€“ ETL/Data Engineer Location: Charlotte, NC (300 S Brevard St) Contract Length: 12 months (possible extension) Pay Rate: $69 - $74 (Hourly, OT40) Top Requirements: โ€ข 6โ€“8 years of software/data engineering experience (lead-level, hands-on) โ€ข 6+ years of SQL experience (ETL, data integration, SOR creation, data validation) โ€ข Strong ETL/data engineering experience with .NET Plusses: โ€ข Experience with Python โ€ข Experience with C# โ€ข Familiarity with SSIS and evolving ETL tools Job Summary: In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering. You will review and analyze complex, multi-faceted challenges requiring in-depth evaluation of multiple factors and contribute to resolving sophisticated technical issues. This role requires a strong hands-on ETL/data engineer with expertise in SQL and .NET, working within established frameworks, policies, and compliance requirements while partnering with stakeholders to deliver data solutions. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: โ€ข Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines and data integration solutions โ€ข Work extensively with SQL to create and manage systems of record (SORs), perform data validation, and integrate data across systems โ€ข Develop and support ETL processes using SSIS (initially) and potentially other tools over time โ€ข Build and maintain .NET-based components supporting data workflows โ€ข Execute development work through assigned Jira stories โ€ข Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize data pipelines for performance and reliability โ€ข Collaborate with engineering and business teams to understand data requirements โ€ข Ensure high data quality, integrity, and compliance with enterprise standards โ€ข Participate in release-related activities as needed EEO Employer Apex Systems is an equal opportunity employer.
