💼 IT - Principal Consultant | Energy, Oil & Gas - Midstream | ETRM - Products 📍 Location: London, UK 🏢 Work Mode: Hybrid (3 days WFO) 📅 Contract Duration: 12 Months 🚀 Role: ETRM Data Modeler | IT Principal Consultant | Energy, Oil & Gas We are seeking an experienced ETRM Data Modeler to join our dynamic Energy, Oil & Gas – Midstream consulting team in London. This role is ideal for a professional with deep expertise in ETRM systems, data modeling, and energy trading analytics, looking to make a real commercial impact. 🔑 Key Accountabilities • Apply ETRM Data Modeling expertise to build, optimize, and deliver commercial insights within global energy markets. • Develop and implement fundamental balances, pricing models, and quantitative trading tools across low-carbon, power, gas, and oil markets. • Collaborate closely with traders, analysts, and stakeholders to ensure analytical models deliver measurable business value. • Standardize repetitive modeling processes into reusable modules for efficiency and scalability. • Communicate technical and analytical findings effectively to drive strategic commercial decisions. 🎓 Essential Experience • Bachelor’s degree in STEM or a quantitative discipline. • Deep understanding of European energy markets — gas, LNG, power, and related financial instruments. • Proven experience building commercially actionable models for energy trading organizations. • Strong knowledge of regression, time series analysis, forecast modeling, and machine learning techniques. • Advanced problem-solving and analytical thinking skills. • Proficiency in at least one coding language for model development (e.g., Python, R, SQL). • Experience handling and analyzing large, complex datasets. 🌟 Desirable Skills • Practical experience in data engineering, including data pipeline design and development. • Expertise in Python and its core data science libraries — pandas, numpy, statsmodels, etc. • Strong understanding of ETRM systems, energy trading risk management, and midstream operations. 💡 Why Join Us? • Be part of a global Energy Trading and ETRM consulting environment. • Work on high-impact data modeling and quantitative trading initiatives. • Collaborate with leading Oil & Gas and Energy industry professionals. • Hybrid work flexibility – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote. 📢 Apply Now!
