Role description
This is a remote position. The Evaluation Specialist is responsible for designing, implementing, and analyzing training evaluation strategies to measure the effectiveness, efficiency, and impact of large-scale learning programs. This role works closely with instructional designers and leadership teams to provide actionable insights that drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Develop comprehensive evaluation plans and tools to measure training effectiveness and learner outcomes. β€’ Create and deploy surveys, rubrics, focus groups, interviews, and observation protocols. β€’ Gather, analyze, and interpret qualitative and quantitative data to identify trends and improvement areas. β€’ Build dashboards and reporting tools using platforms such as Power BI or similar analytics software. β€’ Translate complex data findings into clear narratives, visualizations, and executive-level summaries. β€’ Collaborate with instructional designers to incorporate evaluation insights into content updates. β€’ Support continuous improvement efforts based on performance data and learner feedback. β€’ Ensure evaluation tools and methodologies align with models such as Kirkpatrick Levels 1–3, Phillips ROI, or similar. β€’ Maintain accuracy, data integrity, and timely reporting throughout all evaluation processes. Requirements β€’ Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, Data Analytics, or related field. β€’ 3+ years of experience in training evaluation or learning analytics. β€’ Strong skills in data storytelling and translating data into actionable insights. β€’ Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. β€’ Familiarity with survey tools (Microsoft Forms, SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, etc.). β€’ Strong Excel and data analysis capabilities with a mindset for automation and visualization. β€’ Knowledge of evaluation models such as Kirkpatrick, Phillips ROI, or Learning Transfer Evaluation Model. β€’ Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. β€’ Preferred: Experience with SPSS, R, or Python for deeper statistical analysis.
