Ex-Palantir FDE

Overview We’re looking for a highly capable, customer-facing Forward Deployed Engineer to work directly with end clients, owning the design and delivery of data-driven applications within Palantir Foundry. This role suits someone who naturally takes initiative, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and can operate at the intersection of engineering and business - taking ownership from initial problem definition through to production deployment in live environments. What You’ll Do: • Work directly with stakeholders to break down complex, often undefined business problems into scalable Foundry solutions • Design, build, and deploy end-to-end workflows (ingestion → transformation → application layer) • Develop applications using Ontology, Workshop, and AIP, with a focus on usability and real-world impact • Own delivery in client environments - from discovery through to deployment, iteration, and adoption • Lead workshops, challenge assumptions, and guide stakeholders toward the right technical and product decisions • Troubleshoot, optimise, and continuously improve production systems What You Bring: • 5+ years in data / software engineering or FDE-style roles • Strong hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry (Pipeline Builder, Ontology, Workshop, AIP) • Previous experience at Palantir (FDE / Deployment Strategist) strongly preferred • Proven ability to operate in client-facing, ambiguous environments and take ownership without heavy direction • Strong coding ability (Python, PySpark, SQL; TypeScript/JavaScript a plus) • Experience building production-grade data pipelines and applications end-to-end
