Job Responsibilities:
β’ Develop data engineering solutions, design and develop data pipelines to support Product, business and Data Science teams specific data needs.
β’ Design and develop data architectures in on-premise, cloud and hybrid platforms
β’ Collaborate with cross-functional teamsβincluding product, security, privacy, operations, and partnersβto understand data needs, define and deliver features, model data using relational and NoSQL systems, and develop pipelines that are scalable, repeatable, secure, and aligned with data quality standards.
β’ Drive automation and optimization of data workflows using AI/ML techniques.
β’ Mentor other team members in their efforts to build data engineering skillsets
β’ Assist team management in defining projects, including helping estimate, plan and scope work
Work Experience:
β’ 12+ years of experience in designing and building scalable data systems, including both batch and event driven data pipelines.
β’ 12+ years of SQL Developement experience
β’ 3+ years of experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra), including schema design, performance tuning, and optimization.
β’ 2+ years of experience building and maintaining cloud-native data platforms using AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on experience in services like Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, or Databricks.
β’ 3+ years of experience implementing DevOps practices and infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation
β’ Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, with experience building data tooling and APIs.
β’ Solid understanding of distributed systems, data modeling, and microservices architecture.
β’ Familiarity with data security best practices, including encryption, access control, and privacy-forward design principles.
β’ Passion for solving complex problems, learning new technologies, and enabling AI innovation through robust data engineering
