Contract Location: Hybrid

The Role
Deloitte are seeking an experienced Intelligence (OSINT) Analyst to provide operational and intelligence expertise to support a dedicated Open-Source Intelligence Cell (OSIC). The OSIC will deliver comprehensive security assessments to identify, assess and report on potential risks and threats. Intelligence Analysts in the OSIC are responsible for generating high-quality strategic, tactical, operational and investigative intelligence products.
The Intelligence Analyst will play a crucial role in collecting, processing and analysing open-source intelligence and delivering strategic decision-making insights. The Intelligence Analyst will use specialist skills and proven tradecraft to investigate Open Source and Publicly Available Information (PAI).
Responsibilities
β’ The Intelligence Analyst will provide ongoing operational support to the OSIC Team Leader.
β’ The Intelligence Analyst will support the OSIC to investigate the threat landscape, covering physical, digital and reputational threats to help deliver security assessments.
β’ They will demonstrate expertise across Open-Source Intelligence principles, collection methodologies and creating high-quality analytical products. They will have a robust knowledge of OSINT collection processes to support strategic decision-making including collection methods and technology, evidential standards of collection and misattribution methods and technology.
β’ The Intelligence Analyst will be expected to help set intelligence start points including and not limited to: Comprising key words; compiling scenario-based threats; identifying themes of interest and potential threat actors.
β’ The Intelligence Analyst will have a working knowledge of the OSINT landscape including and not limited to known threat actors, emerging trends, technological advancements and geopolitical shifts.
Essential/Required Skills
β’ Professional experience in a public or private sector organisation in an Intelligence role.
β’ Evidential standard collection and analysis of web-based OSINT and PAI e.g. Logs of sites accessed, intelligence cut off dates (ICODs), limitations of access and evidence collected, e.g. images, captures of conversations, technical information about SOIs).
β’ Experience in working with intelligence collection platforms and data visualisation tools. Previous experience using attribution-managed technical tools is also desirable.
β’ Strong understanding of military and government intelligence principles, methodologies, and technologies.
β’ Ability to escalate relevant threat intelligence to senior Stakeholders within the project team.
Desirable/preferred Skills And Experience
β’ Masterβs or bachelorβs degree in a relevant field (e.g. Intelligence, Security, Threat Intelligence, Cyber Security or any intelligence-related certifications).
β’ Meticulous attention to detail and steadfast focus on quality and risk management
β’ A proactive attitude and ability to problem solve, identify and manage issues, and escalate as necessary
β’ A demonstrated ability to take initiative and own work-streams with little oversight
β’ Physical site security assessment experience
β’ Professional project management qualifications
β’ An ability to juggle and manage a number of different work-streams and work to targets and deadlines
β’ A professional and confident communication style and an ability to build relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
β’ Ability to speak additional languages.
