About the Role The Fabric Data Engineer will be responsible for developing and managing data solutions that support our innovative IT initiatives. Responsibilities β€’ Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Semantic Models) β€’ Strong data engineering skills using SQL, Python/PySpark, and modern lakehouse patterns β€’ Experience modeling ontologies or knowledge graphs (entities, relationships, metadata, business vocabularies) β€’ Understanding of data governance, metadata, and semantic layers in enterprise analytics Required Skills β€’ Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Semantic Models) β€’ Strong data engineering skills using SQL, Python/PySpark, and modern lakehouse patterns β€’ Experience modeling ontologies or knowledge graphs (entities, relationships, metadata, business vocabularies) β€’ Understanding of data governance, metadata, and semantic layers in enterprise analytics Preferred Skills β€’ Experience with ontology or graph standards (e.g., RDF/OWL concepts, graph modeling, GraphRAG‑style approaches) β€’ Familiarity with AI‑enabled analytics, Copilot, or semantic grounding for LLMs β€’ Background working with Microsoft Purview or enterprise data governance platforms
