Job#: 3044140 Job Description: Fidessa Developer Location: Jersey City, New Jersey (Onsite) Role Overview This role is for an experienced Fidessa developer within a financial services technology organization. The team supports institutional and retail equities trading desks by developing, enhancing, and maintaining multiple production trading applications built on the Fidessa platform. A successful candidate must have hands-on Fidessa implementation experience, in-depth knowledge of Fidessa architecture and products, and a proven history of performing product upgrades with complex onsite customizations. Key Responsibilities • Support multiple Fidessa trading systems. • Integrate Fidessa systems into the organization's technology stack. • Upgrade product components on a regular basis to keep up with the latest updates. • Work with business analysts, project managers, and other developers to satisfy business and regulatory requirements. • Onboard the systems to DevOps CI/CD tools. Required Qualifications Education: A bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related technical discipline is required. Experience: This position requires 3+ years of Fidessa server-side development experience. Technical Skills: • Fidessa Product Suite: CASE, FBL, TOP (OMAR, TMAR, PMAC), PAIRS, NMS, FIX+, APAS, FDA. • FIX protocol. • Platforms: Windows 10/11, Linux. • Equities / Global Markets / Order Management and Post-Trade. • Scripting: TCL, Python, Unix shell scripting, PowerShell. • Databases: Sybase, MS SQL Server. • Distributed system design, messaging, and event processing. • Messaging frameworks: AMPS, IBM MQ, Tibco EMS. • Automated testing frameworks. • Agile SDLC, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines. • AI tooling. Preferred Qualifications • 3+ years of core Java development experience. • Hands-on FDA and Sybase experience. • FTW development experience is a strong plus.
