Finance Data Analyst

Johnson Service Group is recruiting a Financial Data Analyst for a great client of ours in Sarasota, FL. This is a 6 month contract to hire on site 5 days a week in Sarasota, FL. Pay range is $40 - $45/hr. Note- This is NOT an IT role...focus is in Accounting/Reporting • Highly skilled Financial Data Analyst to serve as a lead and subject matter expert for special and complex assignments, including preparation of the annual financial statements. • This position is responsible for the review/approval, documentation and analysis of complicated financial data and transactions, reports, processes and procedures, as well as ensuring timely and accurate recording and reporting of financial activities. • It is also charged with establishing and testing business and data requirements, and quality assurance processes for the enterprise financial system and reporting tools. Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Accounting. • A Certified Public Accounting license (CPA) is preferred. • Five to seven years in public accounting, auditing or finance, or any equivalent combination of training and experience is preferred. • Experience in finance administration and regulatory standards regarding administration of public funds, as well as municipal debt and investment markets is highly preferred. • • Johnson Service Group (JSG) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
