Role description
I'm hiring a Finance Data & Insights Consultant to join a leading UK financial services organisation on a 12‑month FTC. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of finance, data, and business decision‑making - turning data into insight that directly influences strategy and performance. Up to £55,000 12‑Month FTC Stratford‑upon‑Avon - Hybrid (up to 80% remote) The role You'll play a key role within the finance function, supporting: • Finance partnering and planning processes • Performance analysis and forecasting • Data‑driven decision‑making across the business This is a hands‑on analytical role with strong stakeholder exposure, where you'll be translating complex data into clear, actionable insight. What you'll be doing • Deliver data‑driven insight to support business performance and strategy • Build and develop forecasting models and performance analysis • Support planning and reforecasting processes across the business • Develop and improve reporting and dashboards • Work closely with finance and non‑finance stakeholders to interpret data and shape decisions • Contribute to automation, data platform improvements, and process optimisation • Support knowledge sharing and help build capability across the team What you bring Must‑haves • Strong experience in data analysis and insight delivery • Experience using tools such as SQL, Python, Power BI or similar • Experience building forecasting models and performance reporting • Ability to translate complex data into clear business insight • Strong stakeholder engagement - comfortable working across finance and business teams Nice to have • Experience in FP&A, finance analytics, or commercial finance • Experience working in regulated or corporate environments • Experience supporting process improvements or automation initiatives What they're looking for • Someone comfortable working across data, finance, and stakeholders • Strong communication and storytelling skills • A proactive, commercially minded approach • Experience supporting or coaching others is a bonus Why this role • High‑visibility role within a key finance function • Blend of analysis, modelling, and stakeholder influence • Opportunity to shape how data is used across the business • Flexible hybrid working (around 80% remote) • Immediate impact in a well‑established organisation Location & working pattern • Stratford‑upon‑Avon (head office) • Hybrid model with majority remote working Contract • 12‑month fixed term contract • Salary up to £55,000 If you're a data‑driven analyst with an interest in finance and want to work in a role where your insight directly informs business decisions, this is a great opportunity.
