Technical Business Analyst – Financial Controls 📍 Hybrid – 1 day per week onsite in Bishopsgate, London 📅 Contract: 6 Months 💰 Rate: £450 per day (Inside IR35) We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to support the enhancement of the Finance and IT control environment within a leading insurance organisation. This role will play a key part in strengthening financial and IT governance while supporting compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) of 2002. The successful candidate will contribute to risk assessments and control enhancement initiatives across the technology and operational landscape. You will support and help drive delivery across three core work streams: • Privileged Activity Monitoring • Segregation of Duties (SoD) Assessments • Log Gap Analysis Essential Skills & Experience: • Strong analytical experience within technology risk, security controls, or IT governance programmes • Experience with IAM/PAM tools such as CyberArk • Knowledge of Segregation of Duties (SoD) frameworks • Familiarity with SOX and financial control frameworks • Ability to interpret complex access models, privileged access controls, and system logs • Experience working with SIEM platforms, logging pipelines, and monitoring concepts • Strong data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, or basic scripting techniques
