Financial Data Analyst

Responsibilities Kforce has an enterprise client hiring for a Data Financial Analyst within their Commercial PCs Business Planning team located in Spring, TX. The Financial Data Analyst will play a critical role in managing and analyzing financial data to support cost-side budgeting and execution. This position is ideal for a data-driven professional with strong analytical and accounting skills who thrives in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze financial transactions and data to support cost-side commercial line budgeting • Develop and maintain financial models to track actuals against forecasts • Collaborate with business planners to ensure execution aligns with financial targets • Use existing tools and processes-no need to build from scratch • Support monthly accruals and income statement reviews • Partner closely with team leader for guidance and alignment Requirements • Strong proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and advanced data analysis • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles (debits/credits, accruals, income statements) • Proven analytical skills and ability to execute projects with precision • Experience in financial planning, budget tracking, or project management is a plus • Self-driven and accountable-able to meet hard deadlines independently • High level of integrity and a positive, collaborative attitude • Comfortable working in a structured environment with strong training and support The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
