Financial Data Analyst (Finance / Compliance Projects) Location: North Chicago, IL (Onsite)Pay: $28–$30/hour (Full-time, 40 hours/week)Schedule: Flexible start between 7:00–9:00 AM About the Role We are seeking a Financial Data Analyst to support compliance reporting and project-based financial analysis. You will work with a small team of analysts to review, verify, and document transactions, helping ensure accurate reporting to federal and state agencies. This role is ideal for early-career finance professionals who enjoy analyzing financial data, problem-solving, and participating in cross-functional projects. Prior experience in healthcare transparency is not required — training will be provided. What You’ll Do Review and analyze financial data and business transactions for compliance reporting Gather and verify expense data from internal systems (SAP, Concur, GTR, Excel) Document analysis, decisions, and results for ongoing projects Support data quality reviews and other finance-related initiatives Communicate across Legal, Compliance, Revenue, and Finance teams Participate in project-based work with opportunities to help shape new processes Qualifications Associate degree required (Bachelor’s in Accounting, Finance, or Business preferred) 0–2 years of relevant experience (internships, school projects, or entry-level finance roles welcome) Strong Excel and data analysis skills Basic understanding of accounting and finance principles Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and be accountable for work Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams Preferred Skills Exposure to SAP, Concur, or other financial/ERP systems Background in accounting, finance, AP/AR, procurement, or compliance Experience or interest in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or medical industries Additional Details Location: Onsite at North Chicago, IL 60064 Hours: Full-time, 40 hours/week Overtime: Expected in January (first two Saturdays required; otherwise rare) Travel: None Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Work Location: In person
