Company Overview:
A specialty finance company focused on asset-based financing solutions is seeking professionals to join their Finance team. These roles will support high-impact projects aimed at enhancing financial reporting and data infrastructure.
Job Responsibilities:
• Support the preparation and enhancement of financial reporting processes across funds and management company entities
• Organize, clean, and structure large volumes of historical financial data
• Translate manually maintained datasets into structured, auditable formats suitable for reporting and analysis
• Build and maintain reporting tools, models, and data pipelines to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Reconcile discrepancies across legacy systems, spreadsheets, and source data
• Standardize reporting outputs and improve data consistency
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including automation and documentation of workflows
• Ensure data integrity and alignment with accounting records and financial statements
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• 3–15 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or audit
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, data manipulation)
• Experience working with large, unstructured, or manual datasets
• Proficiency in Excel required; SQL strongly preferred; Python (or similar data tools) is a plus
• Exposure to investment management, private equity, hedge funds, or financial services environments preferred
Compensation: Pay Rate: $60 – $85/hr, DOE
