Role description
Job Title: Financial Reporting Analyst Location: Palo Alto, CA Zip Code: 94304 Duration: 6 Months Pay Rate: $39.77/hr. Keyword's: #PaloAltojobs; #Accountantjobs. Start Date: Immediate Job Responsibilities: Responsible over the preparation of consolidated financial statements, footnotes, supporting memos and other documentation. Ensure timely and accurate reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance. Manage relationships with external auditors, providing support for annual audits. Support the corporate accounting team on areas such as journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement reviews. Participate in key accounting areas including intercompany transactions, allocations, and ownership reporting. Coordinate with cross-functional partners including Finance, AP, IT, Treasury, International, and others to support accurate reporting and smooth operations. Qualifications High-growth industry and public accounting experience. Bachelor"s degree in finance, accounting, business or similar fields. Strong awareness of U.S. GAAP, IFRS, and SOX compliance. Familiarity with SAP or other similar ERP tools and related applications (Blackline, Workiva) Ability to analyze complex accounting issues and prepare technical memos Experience with preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and corporate accounting Demonstrated ability to work on complex, cross-functional projects in a global corporate environment Continual improvement mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment.
