Fixed Income Business Analyst

Our client is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Global Markets Pre-Trade IT team, supporting the modernization of Credit Markets activity. This role will focus on improving the US Credit Markets platform through technology integration, workflow automation, data analysis, and process enhancement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience within financial services and a strong understanding of Credit Markets and fixed-income products. Responsibilities: • Gather and document business and technical requirements • Work closely with business users, developers, and stakeholders across projects • Analyze structured and unstructured data to improve data quality and reporting • Create reports and dashboards to support business and management teams • Support workflow automation and reconciliation initiatives within Credit Markets • Develop functional specifications, use cases, and process documentation • Participate in testing, validation, and implementation activities • Provide ongoing user support and assist with training when needed • Identify opportunities for operational improvements and process efficiencies Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, Computer Science, or related field • 5–9 years of Business Analyst experience within financial services • Strong understanding of fixed income products and Credit Markets operations • Experience with business intelligence, reporting, and data visualization tools • Familiarity with workflow automation and system integration initiatives • Experience working in agile environments • Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
