About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Flowable Developer to support a large-scale banking transformation initiative. This role focuses on designing and implementing secure, scalable workflow solutions across core financial processes such as lending, onboarding, payments, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop BPMN workflows using Flowable
• Implement case management (CMMN) and decision models (DMN)
• Integrate workflows with enterprise systems via REST APIs and microservices
• Build automation solutions across:
• Loan origination & servicing
• Payments & transaction processing
• KYC / AML workflows
• Ensure compliance with security, audit, and regulatory standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business, product, and engineering)
• Troubleshoot issues and optimize workflow performance
• Maintain technical documentation and support deployments
Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience with Flowable / Camunda / Activiti
• Strong Java, Spring Boot development skills
• Deep understanding of BPMN, CMMN, DMN frameworks
• Experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture
• Strong experience with SQL databases
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Banking Domain Experience (Mandatory)
Hands-on experience in one or more of the following:
• Loan origination / underwriting / servicing
• Payments (ACH, wires, card processing)
• KYC / AML / fraud detection workflows
• Customer onboarding and account lifecycle
