Forward Deployed AI Engineer Zaruda LLC Remote (USA – PST Preferred) Contract or Full-Time About the Role We're looking for a Forward Deployed AI Engineer who can turn customer problems into production-ready AI solutions. You'll work directly with customers, rapidly prototype ideas, build end-to-end applications, and deploy them into production. If you enjoy solving complex problems, shipping fast, and working at the intersection of AI, software engineering, and product, we'd love to talk. What You'll Do • Partner directly with customers to understand business challenges. • Design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications from concept to production. • Develop full-stack solutions using modern web technologies. • Build AI agents, RAG systems, workflow automations, and LLM-powered products. • Integrate with enterprise APIs, databases, and third-party platforms. • Optimize solutions for accuracy, latency, reliability, and cost. • Own projects end-to-end, from discovery through deployment and ongoing improvements. What We're Looking For • 5+ years of software engineering experience. • Hands-on experience building and shipping production AI applications. • Strong proficiency in Python and TypeScript/JavaScript. • Experience with Claude Code, OpenAI, Anthropic, or similar LLM platforms. • Knowledge of AI agents, MCP, RAG, vector databases, prompt engineering, and LLM evaluation. • Experience with React/Next.js, Node.js/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, and AWS, Azure, or GCP. • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work directly with customers. Bonus Points • Experience with voice AI, computer vision, enterprise integrations, or DevOps. • Startup experience with a track record of shipping products quickly. What Success Looks Like • Deliver production-ready AI solutions in days, not months. • Confidently lead customer discovery sessions and technical discussions. • Own the complete lifecycle from idea to deployment. • Drive measurable customer impact through practical AI solutions.
