We are seeking a Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) who acts as a customer‑facing engineer, working closely with clients to deploy, customize, and operationalize advanced software/data platforms. The role requires strong software engineering, data problem‑solving, and client interaction skills, bridging the gap between product engineering and real‑world customer use cases.
Key Responsibilities
Work directly with customers and stakeholders to understand business problems and translate them into technical solutions
Deploy, configure, and customize data platforms, analytics solutions, or enterprise software
Build data pipelines, integrations, and custom workflows using Python, SQL, APIs, and cloud services
Rapidly prototype and iterate solutions in customer environments
Support end‑to‑end delivery: design → implementation → deployment → production support
Collaborate with core product/engineering teams to influence product roadmap based on field learnings
Troubleshoot complex data, performance, and integration issues
Provide onboarding, enablement, and technical guidance to customer teams
Required Skills
Strong software engineering skills in Python (primary)
Solid experience with SQL and relational / analytical databases
Experience working with data pipelines, ETL/ELT, APIs, and integrations
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Ability to work in customer‑facing roles and explain complex systems clearly
Strong problem‑solving mindset with the ability to work in ambiguous environments
Experience deploying solutions in production environments
