Job Description Founding Full-Stack AI Engineer Location: Bay Area Preferred Type: Full-Time / Founding Team Experience Level: 3+ Years (Startup / AI Experience Preferred) About Us AtlasNova.ai is building the AI-powered “Virtual Expert Team” for 35M small business owners. We help offline merchants like restaurants, retail, and local service providers unlock expert-level marketing, operations, and finance — powered by intelligent AI agents and their own business data. We’re backed by top investors and are now expanding our founding engineering team to push the limits of AI x Human Collaboration in the SMB space. What You’ll Do • Partner directly with the founders to design and deliver core AI-driven features • Build and scale full-stack systems: web apps, APIs, infra, and data pipelines • Implement AI-first workflows: RAG, agent orchestration, LLM toolchains, embeddings • Integrate with SMB systems (POS, e-commerce, ads, reviews) to close the loop from data → insight → action • Shape the technical direction & architecture of the company from day one • Contribute to a product already in market, actively used by real-world SMBs We’re Looking For Someone Who... • Hands-on builder with a passion for growth • Open-minded collaboration, and honesty at the core • Has 3+ years of full-stack engineering experience (frontend + backend) • Has built or shipped AI/ML-integrated products (LLMs, LangChain, RAG, etc.) • Thrives in 0→1 environments — hands-on, scrappy, entrepreneurial • Understands speed vs quality trade-offs and balances both • Cares about real product value, not just technical elegance • Wants to grow into a technical leader / architect role as we scale Tech Stack (Current & Planned) • Frontend: React, Tailwind • Backend: Python (FastAPI), Node.js (select services) • Infra: Vercel, Supabase, AWS, Docker • AI: OpenAI, Llama, LangChain, RAG, vector DBs (Pinecone/Weaviate) • Integrations: Square, Shopify, Toast, Yelp, Instagram, Google Ads What We Offer • Founding equity in a high-conviction AI startup • Ownership over architecture, stack, and product direction • A fast-moving, product-first environment with real customer feedback loops • Remote flexibility and async-friendly culture • Opportunity to work with founder-level talent in AI, product, and design
