FS BE Java Spring Boot API, Kafka, DevOps

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a FS BE Java Spring Boot API, Kafka, DevOPS in Westlake, TX. Requirements • A proven foundation in software engineering - Bachelor's degree + preferred, 5+ years of experience • Deep hands-one experience with containerized Java/Spring Boot REST APIs using Kubernetes/AWS EKS • Experience working in an agile environment (Scrum and Kanban) • Working knowledge of Kafka, Angular front end, and the Database technologies like Yugabyte, Snowflake, and Aerospike pattern is a plus • Working knowledge of cloud-based high-stream event messaging/Kafka (ex. market open) implementations • Demonstrated expertise developing and deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes using AWS EKS • Expertise in building and testing large-scale AWS cloud-native digital enterprise applications on micro-services, serverless and event-driven architectures • Excellent communication and influencing skills to facilitate collaboration across technology and business partners without having a direct authority over people • Ownership of the entire secure SDLC, and extensive experience with DevOps CI/CD practices, TDD, BDD to rapidly deliver, measure, and iterate features to customers while minimizing risk using practices blue-green deployments and feature toggles The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
